The game has sold over 2 million copies, as confirmed in Remedy’s latest financial report. Last September, the title had recouped most of its development and marketing costs, but was not yet profitable. The subsequent release of The Lake House expansion and physical console editions appears to have boosted sales significantly. “October saw particularly high activity around Alan Wake 2,” the report noted.
